About the role
The Production Team Lead position is a key role within our manufacturing group. You will support production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participate in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support production packaging and processing operations
- Sanitation and participation in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment
- Work in 3rd shift 8-hour shifts, with additional days off during the week
- Work in a plant operation that is 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, with potential for increased hours and days during peak demand
- Operate all equipment on the assigned line
- Communicate effectively with line employees, supervisors, QA, maintenance, sanitation, shift trainers, and other team leads to support daily operations
- Complete production reporting, downtime documentation, line meetings, shift changeover, and supply readiness for the upcoming shift
- Support equipment startup, shutdown, cleaning, and press plate changes
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred or two years of consistent job history
- Proficiency in standard computer software required, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Proficient in English
- Effective communication, safety, and leadership skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
- Able to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
- Able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
- Able to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
- Able to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
Qualifications
- Must be able to use computer and programs such as SAGE, outlook and excel for shift reporting

- Lead the assigned production line with a focus on safety, food quality, productivity, and accurate reporting
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure compliance with GMP, PPE, SOP, and standard work requirements
- Monitor line performance, product quality, and food safety conditions, and promptly address or escalate issues involving waste, downtime, defects, or non-conformances
- Assign tasks, manage rotation and break coverage, and help ensure proper staffing throughout the shift

Pay
$24.87 per hour
Schedule
- 3rd shift 8-hour shifts
- Shift Hours: 10:00p to 6:00am
- Saturday and Sunday are part of the required work schedule with 1 to 2 days off during the week
