Production Line Laborer

Primary Responsibilities

• Become an important part of our production team while receiving hands-on training in one of several positions throughout our manufacturing process.
• Perform all job duties safely, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring compliance with all plant safety policies and procedures, including all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Aid in production and shipping of high-quality roofing products that meet customer specifications.
• Set up raw materials and equipment to established standards.
• Inspect product throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate forklift, bobcat, or other equipment to perform assigned duties.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues, communicating shift updates, and supporting continuous improvements in safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping, cleaning, painting, and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• 24/7 manufacturing facility
• 12-hour straight shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm or 7:00pm – 7:00am)
• 2-2-3 work schedule (36 hours one week / 48 hours the next)
• Overtime expected during production ramp-up

Education, Licenses & Certifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly communicate verbally and hear effectively.
• Frequently stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb stairs and ladders, grasp, perform fine and gross motor movements, and reach both forward and above head level throughout the duration of the shift.
• Safely operate assigned machinery.
• Push, pull, and/or lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work in varying temperature conditions.
