Production Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead team members in day-to-day operations, including work assignments, and serve as the initial point of contact for problem-solving in each OE Assembly work area.
• Act as a working team leader directly involved in manufacturing operations.
• Train new team members through on-the-job training.
• Lead and support work processes that drive Continuous Improvement, eliminate waste, and ensure high levels of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
• Maintain strong internal Customer/Supplier relationships and collaborate effectively with other departments and management.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment for all employees.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with standard operating procedures, product identification requirements, and company-wide goals.
• Lead daily stand-up communications (TIB) with team members and maintain updated information on the TIB board.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the area Supervisor/Manager.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills to lead assembly area activities.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures, with skilled problem-solving based on experience.
• Able to read and interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to change.
