Production Lead

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Supervisor and is responsible for leading a team to meet departmental performance objectives while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties detailed in the team member job description.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities to meet departmental performance objectives.
• Follow and enforce Health and Safety guidelines.
• Lead team members in adhering to the Control Plan daily to ensure consistent operating processes.
• Oversee and administer overtime equalization per company policy.
• Maintain team member attendance records and report absenteeism concerns to management.
• Complete employee performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
• Facilitate daily informational meetings at the start of shifts to support continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure all team members receive required training to meet quality objectives.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and in proper working condition.
• Maintain adequate manpower to complete departmental activities according to scheduled requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and management.
• Fluent in English (reading and writing).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to motivate employees toward achieving goals.
