Production Lead

We are currently looking for a Production Lead to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a full-time hourly position.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and coordinate departmental employees to meet daily quality specifications.
• Fill in any position that may be short-staffed.
• Oversee work accuracy, quality, and department productivity.
• Develop employee motivation and enthusiasm by setting clear expectations, providing training, giving performance feedback, and engaging in ongoing open communication and employee development, as well as encouraging employees to make suggestions.
• Provide training and evaluate direct reports consistent with company guidelines, quality, housekeeping, efficiencies, safety, and environmental regulations, and complete any training needed to introduce new policies or procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable occupational health, environmental, and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform a comprehensive variety of tasks, lead and direct the work of others, and manage the operations of assigned production area to ensure volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved.
• Ensure physical and workforce resources are adequate to meet the organization's production schedule.
• Manage the activities of production personnel including workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
• Act as a key business partner focused on establishing, maintaining, developing, and promoting a positive employee relations environment and successful business practices that exceed the needs of internal and external customers.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience at a Lead/Supervisory level.
• Experience in training, discipline, and performance management.
• Reliable, conscientious, impeccable attendance, and self-disciplined.
• Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal and ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
