Production Lead - 3rd Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Aids in the training of new employees to ensure efficient ramp up into the machine operator role
• Cleans and prepares the machine area for setup technicians to ensure the efficient changeover to a new production run
• Communicates with Shipping & Receiving, Material Technicians, and Process Technicians to ensure critical information is communicated
• Completes assignments when necessary
• Ensures each machine operator receives and understands the part information sheet for their scheduled production runs
• Orders additional supplies from the shipping and receiving department
• Provides machine operators with barcode labels, needed components and equipment for the scheduled shift products
• Relieves machine operators for breaks and performs all aspects of the machine operator role during that time
• Supplies machine operators with barcode labels, needed components and equipment for the scheduled shift products
• Trains new employees to ensure efficient ramp up into the machine operator role
• Transfers the product to the dock area after scanning and shrink wrapping (as necessary)
• Works with the production supervisor in leading shift huddles
