Production Laborer - Mill

Description

The successful Smurfit Westrock team member will be working in a continuous manufacturing operation at the Fernandina Beach Mill. This position involves working 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation. Employees must comply with all safety regulations and practices.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D. completion certificate required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Demonstrated the drive to achieve and have upward movement into various jobs
• Self-motivated desire to learn
• Capable of meeting physical requirements to include working rotating shifts-weekends/holidays, around heat, noise, work inside/outside, etc.
• Has the mechanical, mathematical, and verbal aptitude to learn positions
• Proven record of performance
• Play by the rules and work well with others
• Able to operate in heavy manufacturing site and work variable schedule and overtime as needed
