Production Laborer (Manufacturing)

About the role

As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications. You will become part of a community that prioritizes customers and values dedicated, loyal employees.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Setting up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high‑quality concrete products.
• Performing any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in an open‑air environment.
• Preferred: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds may be lifted with a forklift or crane.
• Must be able to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and step up 20 inches.
