About the Role

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking motivated Production Laborers, including mill production operators and light equipment operators, to join our team. This role requires a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill clean, including surrounding grounds.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with maintenance staff and contractors, as well as fulfill Project Manager requests.
• Help maximize efficiency of the mill and crew.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredient quality meets LNC standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment following proper training.
• Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Perform other operational processes and tasks as assigned by local management.

Requirements

• Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours/day.
• Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift, Skid Steer, or Front End Loader experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat, or cold.
• Ability to perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Some weekends required in winter months.
• Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.
