Production Kitchen Assistant - Seasonal

About the role

General Kitchen Assistant in a preservation kitchen, supporting the production of fruit preserves, condiments, sauces, mixes, and salsas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various kitchen duties as directed by supervisors.
• Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production process.
• Follow all departmental policies, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for up to four hours at a time.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment and ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in basic food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

Additional Details

The position is seasonal, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday, no night, weekend, or holiday work, and requires a commitment to teamwork and excellence.
