About the role
The Production Specialist fills a dual role. Combined responsibilities include manufacturing and installing various types of signs including vinyl banners/decals, wood and aluminum site signs, vehicle lettering, window graphics and more!
Responsibilities
- Prepare substrates and apply vinyl or other media
- Mount and/or laminate prints
- Operate and set up the laminator for over-laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products
- Proofread signs and conduct quality assurance
- Assemble, erect and hang items both inside and out
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have a valid CA Driver's license
- Must pass a background check
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in the sign industry or construction
- Desired: Experience with light power tools
Typical Physical Demands
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods
- Ability to view a computer screen for long periods
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
Compensation
$20.00 per hour
