Production II

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Pull required parts from inventory as identified on work orders.
• Create subassembly work orders based on production schedule and/or inventory requirements.
• Aids in creating the schedule for production requirements.
• Set up and operate production equipment to manufacture, process, and assemble products, without supervision.
• Use product specifications, blueprints, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOP) to produce products.
• Performs in-process quality testing of product as required by drawings and work orders.
• Maintains quality and conformance to standards by monitoring output.
• Prepares and maintains required records of production activities and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues.
• Fulfills safe material handling and use of PPE guidelines.
• Prepares and organizes components for packaging and packages material to meet customer requirements.
• Ensures necessary ERP documents are followed and reports any discrepancies.
• Conducts or assists in training of personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing diagrams.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, a plus.

Physical Demands

• Required to travel around the shop and visit all established workstations.
• Must frequently use a computer.
• Exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other materials.
• Required to single lift 40 lbs.
• Requires ability to lift, bend, pull, and climb.
• Must visually identify defects in incoming materials and use inspection tools and equipment.
