Responsibilities

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Maintain plant production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform regular walkthroughs and visual inspections to identify and address operational issues.
• Ensure products meet required quality standards by communicating with Quality Assurance (QA).
• Adjust equipment as necessary to meet production requirements.
• Report any equipment or process issues to supervisors immediately.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and skid loaders.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, free of debris and obstacles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in an industrial/outdoor work environment.
• At least one year of experience working around manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely at all times and with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to operate various types of equipment under different conditions.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Good attendance record with dependability and consistency.
• Flexible availability, including overtime and weekend shifts, as needed.

Pay

Nucor offers competitive compensation packages tailored to individual performance and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Potential for overtime and weekend shifts may apply based on business needs.
