Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay

$13.50 per hour (actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws).

Responsibilities

• Receive clear communication on upcoming ganged jobs to ensure timely cutting.
• Place printed jobs on the jogger, align them, and prepare them for the Cutter Operator.
• Weigh each job according to specifications.
• Monitor the jogging machine, adjust as needed to maintain operating speed and meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve when possible, and notify the Bindery Supervisor or Plant Management.
• Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of safety hazards.
• Be available for required overtime based on business needs.
• Proactively complete other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience packing with various paper thicknesses and general printing processes.
• Ability to measure and count accurately.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Effective communication with supervisors and co‑workers.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues and take corrective actions.

Working Conditions

The jogger position operates in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with loud machine noise and varying temperatures depending on weather.

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Walking for at least 75% of the shift.
• Lifting up to 50 lb.
• Bending/twisting for at least 50% of the shift.
