Job Summary
TekniPlex is hiring a Production Helper 3rd Shift for our Madison, WI facility.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in setting up and operating printing and slitting equipment to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Complete documentation accurately.
- Maintain housekeeping standards of production equipment and the surrounding area.
- Perform packing and material handling tasks as needed.
- Perform work in the cleaning room.
- Perform core cutting as required.
- Help the site meet its quality objectives.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Work in setup areas as required.
- Assist with training as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Move product in plant using fork truck or other PIV.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Forklift and warehouse experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good math skills - able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to maintain excellent quality products.
- Able to pay attention to details.
- Proficient navigating a computer.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
