Production Helper - 1st shift (7am - 3:30 pm)

Job Summary

About the role

The Production Helper I is an entry-level position in the Manufacturing department. This position assists the Manufacturing Operators in operating assigned manufacturing equipment, adheres to cGMP guidelines, and maintains high standards in compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and operate assigned manufacturing equipment, including shutdown/start-up following established procedures.
• Move and place required materials for manufacturing.
• Assist in coating, compression, encapsulation, granulation/blending, or soft gel functions.
• Document activities in batch records, forms, and other GMP documents.
• Offer suggestions for process improvements and recognize and report atypical occurrences.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace and adhere to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Basic mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a team

Qualifications

• Must complete departmental SOP, GMP, and any required qualifications.

Physical Demands/Factors

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear.
• Frequently sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, and color vision required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pays $19.05 per hour.
• Eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
