About the role

The Production Worker is normally the third team member assigned to a machine in the Production Department, supporting operators on different machinery and assisting different areas as needed. This role focuses on supporting the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility, with opportunities to develop and grow your career in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting manufacturing areas, production, and quality checks
• Assist with material set-up and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure all tooling for the machine is on hand
• Assist the machine operator and assistant operator with setups and jam-ups
• Keep the area surrounding the machine clean of debris and spills
• Support operators on different machinery as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong desire to advance within the industry
• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts; available to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and crouch for extended periods
• Math skills (will be assessed)

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Corrugated box manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with Flexo, Gluers, Rotaries, Clamp Trucks, and Forklifts

Pay

Starting pay: $21.71/hour with frequent overtime up to 4 hours daily.

Schedule

• 1st and 2nd shifts available (flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as needed)
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
