Production Helper

About the role

Treske Precision Machining, Inc. is a precision machine shop serving Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics, and Commercial Customers. We are technology-driven, including robotic machine loading and inspection, and offer cloud-based on-the-clock training for all employees.

Shifts

• Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
• Monday-Friday 2pm-12:30am with differential

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Emptying chip bins
• Operating a forklift
• Staging part materials
• Assisting machinists in setup tasks
• Providing hands during loading/unloading operations
• Cleaning daily tasks, including workstation and common area upkeep
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery (e.g., briquetter, removing coolant, chip debris, and residue)
• Emptying scrap solids bins, chip bins, and coolant collectors
• Checking and maintaining coolant levels, coolant quality, and cleaning chip bins
• Learning to use precision measuring tools, finishing tools, and maintenance tools

Job Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Work conducted primarily in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Exposure to conditions typical of a machine shop, including noise, dust, and occasional outdoor elements
• Regular activities include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, navigating stairs, and moving throughout the facility
• Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
