Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing production team needs, providing guidance and problem resolution.
- Preparation of test procedures and O&M manuals.
- Review of technical documentation.
- Work with other engineers to support regulatory audits.
- Providing troubleshooting for product testing.
- Answering post-sale technical support questions.
- Collaborating with division managers to implement process upgrades.
- Building first articles of new product designs
- Developing new processes to optimize production
- Helping senior team members prepare samples for listings with UL, NSF, and FM, as well as communication with various agencies to maintain current listings
Qualifications
- Education: bachelor’s degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
- Experience: 5 -10 years in Manufacturing or related position.
- Experience with Air Valves or Hydraulic Control Valves- advantage.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Visio & Office Products. Experience with SolidWorks.
- Language: English. Additional languages – advantage.
- Experience with Technical Troubleshooting.
- Require minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to think critically and independently find solutions when presented a problem.
- Detailed and effective at accurately documenting specifications.
- Able to manage multiple projects at one time, balancing every day production needs with larger systemic upgrades.
- Able to work in and lead a team.
- Patient and capable of working under pressure.
- Building intercompany relations to better serve the production and manufacturing teams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.
- May occasionally work in temperatures ranging from cold to extremely hot.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection.
- May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pound.
