About the role

The Production Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and optimized LNG production at the facility. This position is responsible for developing and managing short- and long-term production schedules that balance feed gas availability, equipment capabilities, storage limits, and commercial commitments. By analyzing plant performance and collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, process engineering, and commercial teams, the engineer helps maximize throughput while minimizing flaring, energy consumption, and operational losses.

A key function of the role is production accounting, which includes tracking and validating downtime events, quantifying production losses, maintaining accurate energy balances, and forecasting LNG and gas volumes to support commercial, financial, and regulatory reporting. The Senior Production Engineer provides the analytical foundation for operational decision-making, identifies optimization opportunities, and ensures that production plans remain aligned with regulatory requirements, environmental constraints, and business objectives. This position ultimately supports stable, efficient plant operations and contributes to achieving the site’s performance, reliability, and financial goals.
