Production Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Machine safety enhancement
• Process troubleshooting, root cause analysis
• Short period stops, downtime, defect & cost reduction
• PLC & CNC programming & troubleshooting
• Feasibility & time study
• Schedule, budget, & project management
• Production control charts & PFMEA document maintenance
• Tool testing & improvement
• Machine design improvement, visual presentation making & delivery
• Data procurement and analysis
• Equipment procurement
• Supplier development

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Science & Technology discipline related to the Manufacturing environment
• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Machining and or aluminum casting experience is a plus
• Mechanical experience in machine and/or process operation, skilled trades work, administrative duties, engineering experience

Qualifications

• High output automotive industry experience
• Internship experience
• Examples of work history and duties performed along with references
• Hands on manufacturing floor experience within production processes
• Willing to assume a hands-on role
• Trained technical skills in production processes, design, tooling, programming
• Achiever of continuous improvement implementation within diverse and sometimes complex situations
