Essential Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand schematic drawings
- A high degree of competence in MS Office programs
- Read, write, and interpret documented production processes
- Able to audit production processes and report findings
- Productively work with every level of the organization
- Identify and address production related concerns
- Knowledge of CAD software (ex: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, SketchUp)
- Operational knowledge of common manufacturing best practices
Required QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Combination of formal training and work experience in relevant technical field
- Mechanical ability and experience with common manufacturing equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience working within a defined process workflow
Preferred
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Science, or other relevant technical degree
- Experience working in a job shop environment
- Experience training others in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Laser inspection equipment
- Experience with 3D printing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend, stoop and reach frequently during shifts
- Regularly push/pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or operate machines as directed.
- Prolonged periods standing.
