Production Drafter – Retail Manufacturing & Millwork - Cincinnati, Ohio

About the role

CIP Retail is a full-service firm specializing in retail design, engineering, millwork, and signage manufacturing. We partner with major brands to create custom retail décor, interior signage, and store fixtures that enhance customer experience. By blending cutting-edge CAD drafting with expert craftsmanship, we deliver value-driven solutions for national and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AutoCAD shop drawings from architectural elevations, renderings, and site surveys.
• Collaborate with production managers, engineers, and project leads to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
• Prepare drawings for retail signage, store fixtures, millwork, and décor installations.
• Resolve drawing or product issues while maintaining documentation accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements

• AutoCAD certification in mechanical, architectural, or engineering drafting (required).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with retail millwork drafting, cabinetry, or construction drawings a plus.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Schedule

This position is 100% on-site and requires the candidate to work from our Fairfield, OH office during regular business hours. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
