Duties And Responsibilities
- Converting product designs into detailed technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software
- Interpreting and incorporating design specifications and engineering notes into the drafting process
- Working closely with engineers and staff management to understand the requirements of the project
- Reviewing and modifying designs to ensure they meet manufacturing requirements
- Checking drafts and blueprints for accuracy and completeness
- Preparing documentation for the manufacturing and assembly processes
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing procedures, standards and specifications
- Revising and updating technical drawings as per modifications and improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing drafting or related field
- Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
