About the role
Curriculum Associates is looking for a Production Designer to join our growing Educator Success Design team. This role is fully remote for US-based candidates. For India, candidates should expect to work from the Bangalore office. The Production Designer will design and edit print and digital implementation materials, primarily consisting of informational guides, worksheets, slide presentations, and web graphics.
Responsibilities
- Design/edit extensively in Adobe InDesign
- Update the design and copy for existing single and multi-page documents
- Create new single and multi-page documents from templates and style guides
- Ensure projects adhere to design best practices and adjust layouts accordingly
- Apply accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0, ADA Compliance)
- Design/edit illustrations and product graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Figma (a plus)
- Design/edit photos in Adobe Photoshop
- Design/edit slides in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Attend and participate in project meetings; document and follow up on important actions and decisions
- Communicate regularly with supervisors, design team, and cross-functional collaborators to understand and execute project goals and maintain schedules
- Track tasks using project management tools
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- A strong appreciation and understanding of both print and web design best practices
- Understanding of content markup and how to implement changes
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-starter and deadline-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across multiple projects at once
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate across different functions such as Writers, Product Managers, and Project Managers
- Excellent communication and listening skills; proactively asks questions
- Openness to and ability to apply constructive feedback
Skills
- Adobe CC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (Mac-based)
- Figma
- Microsoft Office 365: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Familiarity with AI programs such as Claude and ChatGPT
- Adobe Premiere and After Effects experience is a plus

Pay
This role’s pay range is $51,250 - $84,250. The wage range takes into account factors such as prior experience and relevant skill sets. Actual base pay within that range will vary based on these factors. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan.
