Production Decorator

About the role
Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting is seeking a Finishing Decorator for a temporary full-time opportunity lasting approximately 3 weeks (possibly longer). The Finishing Decorator is responsible for decorating lighting fixtures and components while meeting established production goals, product specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed written instructions in combination with verbal instructions as needed to coordinate and perform assigned work.
- Decorate lighting fixtures and components in accordance with established product and quality standards.
- Inspect incoming products, including chandeliers, mirrors, tables, floor lamps, table lamps, accessories, and related components.
- Check products for damage, needed repairs, and missing components.
- Ensure all components and supplies required for finishing operations are available at the workstation, including SOPs and finishing samples.
- Decorate products using the appropriate tools, samples, and documentation.
- Maintain attention to detail and quality throughout the finishing process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in finishing or decorating operations is preferred.
- Manual dexterity and good motor coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, including shifts of 8 hours or more.
- Ability to move products weighing up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
