Responsibilities
- Help organize all information flow for Dimension plants using computer programs and paperwork.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Research and Development to ensure the accuracy of cabinet order information.
- Work Monday - Thursday, 10.5 hour shifts, with overtime on Fridays as needed.
- Print, sort, and distribute all production paperwork.
- Design all production cut lists and final staging lists, ensuring they are correctly formatted for the Dimension areas.
- Maintain and repair all electronic routes through Dimension plants, including UPS and EOL routes.
- Troubleshoot electronic problem areas and order and maintain inventory for the Dimensions, such as janitorial items, labels, toner, ink, paper, and other supplies.
- Build and maintain subassembly formulas and add new parts into Merlin.
- Communicate routing and cut lists for Merlin parts and subparts.
- Operate as a liaison between production buildings and the office.
- Aid in completing high custom jobs by ensuring production has all necessary parts and clarifying orders as they reach production.
- Create laser door tags for marketing purposes as needed.
- Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Multitask and work in a team environment.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of related experience preferred.
- Ability to read measurement tools.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to or exceeding 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours).
- Ability to cope with Iowa climates, endure heat and cold conditions, and tolerate fast-paced workloads and moderate noise levels.
- Personal Protective Equipment as required by OSHA will be provided by the Company.
