About the role

The Production Coordinator at Mohawk Industries is an entry-level position that provides operations and administrative support to the Manufacturing function and external and internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Follow documented procedures and processing standards to perform duties related to operations, purchasing, vendor support/customer services, and administrative duties to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Code all invoices and submit for payment.
  • Research questionable invoices and resolve as needed.
  • Cooky material deliveries to meet plant demands and maximize plant efficiency.
  • Cooky through Logistics team the on-time delivery of finished goods and scheduling of production runs.
  • Track expenses for budgetary purposes.
  • Enter orders to purchase raw materials and supplies in SAP.
  • Complete month end workbook accurately each month.
  • Complete setup new vendors and part numbers in AS400/SAP and follow up as needed.
  • Maintain Plant Contractors List and send information for New Contractors packets.
  • Actively participate in group activities and collaborate with team.
  • Provide basic analysis and apply knowledge from experience or standard procedure to solve problems.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

  • Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.

  • The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
