About the role
The Production Coordinator (Real Estate Appraisal Assistant) plays a vital support role in our commercial appraisal practice. This position partners closely with appraisers to research, prepare, and deliver accurate, high-quality appraisal reports while supporting the processes that allow our team to best serve our clients.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the pre-production of real estate appraisal reports for bank lending, property tax appeal, eminent domain, and other valuation purposes
- Set up and manage assignments within a web-based job management system
- Research, gather, verify, and enter property-level data into appraisal databases
- Verify tax, zoning, and related municipal information
- Prepare maps, photographs, and other exhibits for appraisal reports
- Draft report sections related to subject property neighborhoods and market context
- Update market data and support ongoing market research
- Coordinate and assist with scheduling property inspections, as needed
- Upload finalized reports to client web-based delivery platforms
- Stay informed of local market trends and conditions
- Participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with colleagues
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience working in an office or professional services environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, and comfort using web-based software systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to conduct basic research using sound judgment and critical thinking
- Professional interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy
- Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred, preferably in real estate, business, or a related field
- Experience with real estate appraisal software and databases
- Knowledge of local real estate markets and zoning regulations

Pay
Salary Range: $45,000–$49,000 annually
