Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator is a key member of our project execution team, ensuring TEi meets its contractual obligations and financial forecasts. This role coordinates within the organization to ensure successful manufacturing execution at Joplin by:

• Clearly communicating schedule requirements to Production
• Monitoring project progress, especially for high-value and high-priority projects
• Driving Production to achieve baseline dates for all projects
• Randomly performing schedule audits to verify actual shop floor progress (materials and manufacturing) matches reported progress
• Providing root cause analysis and assisting Production Controls with recovery plans when project schedules fall behind baseline

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred
• Manufacturing experience in a related field required
• Knowledge of material movement or material flow preferred
• Influence and leadership skills are a must
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong reading and comprehension skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Experience reading and reporting schedule progress in MS Project or Primavera (P6)
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Knowledge of welding processes and manufacturing is a plus
• Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is a plus
• Desire for process improvement is imperative

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Power BI, scheduling software, timekeeping software, and Costpoint programs is a plus

Pay

$63,000 to $71,750 annually, depending on experience.
