Production Coordinator
About the role
The purpose of this position is to facilitate the smooth movement of work orders throughout the organization. This position will work closely with the Planner, Supervisor, and Production Associates to meet customer request dates.
Responsibilities
- Transacting work orders through our ERP (Oracle) software
- Create, track, and update production run charts to ensure run rates are being met
- Take direction from the Planners, Supervisors, and Management
- Work across departments, Quality, Engineering, etc., to eliminate roadblocks
- Support line associates, allowing them to focus on building parts
- Identify opportunities to improve MFG/ERP system with changes related to BOM, Router, Process Steps
- Lead lean activities to drive improvements in our core KPI’s
- Clerical work: filing, record keeping, organizing
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, experience in manufacturing, preferably, and 5 years minimum relevant manufacturing experience
- Strong analytic skills, a high degree of Microsoft Excel knowledge is required
- Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Kanban experience, Oracle software is preferred
- Understanding of concepts in a Lean Manufacturing Environment and Kanban Supply Chains
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
- U.S. Person (for ITAR compliance purposes)

$22.00-$25.00/hour
