We are currently looking for a Finishing Production Coordinator to join our team.
Compensation
$25.00 hourly

Responsibilities
- Perform analysis to determine root cause
- Audit compliance with mix prevention rules, customer-specific rules, and standards
- Work directly with Customer Service Representatives and Shipping when necessary to fulfill customer requirements
- Understand production requirements and ensure level loading of each asset
- Audit job jackets and production timesheets for accuracy and compliance to quality plans
- Manage daily work requirements, ensuring jobs are completed in time to meet production delivery dates
- Manage production schedules, ensuring sufficient stock is available to keep assets running
- Establish Kanban systems for supply replenishment
- Create and regularly update standard work documentation
- Facilitate and execute process improvement activities
- Communicate opportunities for improvement to the leadership team
- Maintain regular email communication and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one situations
- Ability to read and understand job specifications
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership for personal performance while accepting challenging goals
- Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written and oral instructions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to address problems involving a limited number of variables and understand when to involve supervision in the problem-solving process
- Ability to wear required PPE in production areas and follow all safety protocols
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the production environment for extended periods
- Frequent walking required
- Ability to use hands to feel and touch, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment
Vision requirements
- Vision correctable to 20/20 if required
- Ability to meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
