Production Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Complete training focused on, but not limited to: Peer to Boss Transitioning, Emotional Intelligence, Element Policy & Procedure, Environmental Operations, Health & Safety Operations, Waste Water Treatment, Lead Production Operations, Lead Refining Operations, Slag Processing, Battery Break Operations, Landfill Operations, Baghouse Operations
• Provide leadership in All Departments and coverage on nights and weekends
• Direct work for employees
• Counsel and complete necessary documentation for training or corrective actions and violations of Plant Rules
• Schedule and conduct Toolbox Meetings with hourly employees daily
• Complete shift paperwork daily, to include Safety, Quality, and Productivity as well as work area logs
• Ensure that hourly employees follow Standardized Work and Standard Operating Procedures
• Accountable for all department equipment, including mobile equipment
• Ensure that daily checks are completed and documented

Qualifications

• Current experience in manufacturing
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• High school diploma preferred
• Previous leadership experience
• Six Sigma or Lean training and/or certification
• Knowledge and experience of problem-solving and quality improvement methodologies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Working knowledge of UKG or other timekeeping systems
• Heavy equipment experience
