About the role

The Production Coordinator supports manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient workflow, coordinating resources, and maintaining production schedules to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, quality) to resolve production issues.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, including work orders, inventory records, and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all production processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in production management, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production coordination, manufacturing, or operations in an industrial or aeronautical environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and production schedules.
