About the Role
The Production Coordinator supports the daily execution of manufacturing operations by ensuring production work orders are accurate, timely, and aligned with the production schedule. This role coordinates work order creation, material readiness, inventory transactions, and job close-out activities to ensure efficient production flow and accurate manufacturing data. The Production Coordinator serves as a key link between Production, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance by maintaining the integrity of manufacturing information within the ERP system, supporting inventory accuracy, and driving continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage work orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the job close-out process for completed production tasks.
- Coordinate inventory and material flow to support production needs.
- Utilize ERP systems to maintain manufacturing data integrity.
- Provide production support and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Document and drive process improvements across manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Procurement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Parts+, or similar) for scheduling and data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, inventory management, or process optimization is a plus.
