Production Controller - Extended Day shift

About the role

The Production Control Representative plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and execution of production schedules. This position serves as the bridge between materials management, order management, and production teams to maintain seamless workflows and meet delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Release work orders on time to meet production schedule.
• Partner with Production to identify schedule gaps, providing planning support to help maintain adherence to the production schedule.
• Plans Production efficiently and to ensure business requirements and objectives are met.
• Run daily reports for material availability on work orders and escalate to manager on any critical needs.
• Independently resolves Production, Inventory Planning and Forecasting issues.
• Work with Order Management to ensure on time delivery of materials.
• Close work orders in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma / GED
• 3 years' experience working in a supply chain or production planning role in a manufacturing environment
• Highly proficient MS Excel skills
• MRP systems knowledge, SAP preferred

• Tenacious and assertive driver who escalates on a timely manner
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem solving skills to rapidly identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the processes

Pay

The base salary range for this position in NC is $66,708 – $78,336. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
