Production Controller
This position is for an established professional in production control at Collins Aerospace, a leader in technologically advanced, intelligent solutions for the aerospace and defense industry. The role is based onsite in Foley, AL, and relocation assistance is provided. U.S. citizenship is required due to program/contract access requirements.
About the Role
As a Production Control professional, you will prepare production schedules, maintain reports, track inventory, and ensure smooth material flow. This role involves advanced knowledge of production control functions, autonomy in decision-making, and influencing others within the work area.
Responsibilities
- Create production plans or build sequences based on customer requirements and business direction.
- Administer production orders based on material availability and demand; communicate and escalate changes as needed.
- Gather and analyze data for inventory, KPIs, and excess/obsolete (E&O) inventory.
- Maintain the MRP system according to established policies for assigned products.
- Assist in the cycle counting process.
- Compile, prepare, manage, and maintain production reports to identify performance issues and opportunities.
- Communicate with procurement to verify incoming receipts and ensure production execution and product shipment.
- Provide feedback to internal customers and support root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
- Resolve material shortages and demonstrate key business processes.
- Track and manage assigned KPIs such as IOTD, EOTD, AMS OTD, E&O, and Aged WIP.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with SAP.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 USD - $131,100 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
