About the role

The Production Control Supervisor position is located in Wahiawa, HI. This role is part of Bering Straits Professional Services (BSPS), a company dedicated to managing global logistics, training, and procurement services for U.S. Government agencies. BSPS achieved ISO 9001 certification in February 2022 through the Performance Review Institute (PRI).

Responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of the Production Control team members.
  • Responsible for timesheets, work productivity, leave management, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews.
  • Excellent knowledge of the CMMS (Maximo) section of the PWS.
  • Prepare, compile, and distribute work productivity reports to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain and monitor CMMS (Maximo) activities for contractual compliance.
  • Prepare, compile, and distribute Preventative Maintenance work orders to the Operation Team managers.
  • Review CMMS (Maximo) material inventory and physical inventory. Reconcile when applicable.
  • Audit CMMS (Maximo) data entry for accuracy. Reconcile when applicable.
  • Perform weekly audits of the workorder log comments and assist the Operation Team in correcting any deficiencies.
  • Active participant in meetings.
  • Close working relationship with the Quality Control Manager.
  • Participate in facility audits to verify compliance with the PWS.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Experience: Two years of supervision experience and five years of experience in data entry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products to include, Outlook, Excel, and Word; ability to produce Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports; knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows; basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools; knowledge of customer service practices; knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles; communication skills (written and verbal); time management and prioritization; problem-solving and critical thinking; interpersonal and teamwork skills; attention to detail.
