Production Control Coordinator I

Position Summary

Production Control Coordinator supports production control and ensures the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. This role involves monitoring inventory, coordinating with vendors, tracking orders, and resolving issues.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Uses Oracle to validate and verify materials and quantities for assembly production.
• Organizes and maintains parts in Oracle for all Open WIP and stalled WIP jobs.
• Communicates and coordinates expedites and component shortages.
• Solves inventory and BOM issues, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Completes production reporting activities.
• Supports production operations as an expert on inventory transactions.
• Ensures workplace compliance with 5S protocol through weekly audits.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in production/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle, including product master data like BOMs, routings, and operations.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to get things done.
• Clear communication skills in cross-functional and peer group settings.

Working Conditions

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
• Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
