Production Control Coordinator

Main Responsibilities

  • Support inventory control by running supply/demand models within the ERP system
  • Generate, print, and release work orders and pick lists to the production floor
  • Perform work order closing transactions and update inventory quantities
  • Create and distribute work orders and assist with job routing coordination
  • Enter data and maintain accurate electronic documentation
  • Attend meetings to gather updates on orders, revisions, and production timelines
  • Cooking ordering of materials and supplies
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports
  • Communicate schedule requirements and shortages with production supervisors
  • Monitor quality-related part needs and coordinate with the Quality department
  • Update meeting presentations and support administrative tasks
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six months or more of administrative or manufacturing planning experience preferred
  • An associate degree in a related field preferred
  • One to two years of experience working with ERP systems highly preferred
  • Familiarity with bills of materials, routings, and inventory control methods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to enter large volumes of data accurately and efficiently
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A commitment to safety and alignment with company Leadership Principles and workplace competencies
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, and using hand and finger dexterity

  • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing setting
  • Close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration
  • Noisy environment with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers
