Production Control Coordinator

About the role
Release and update internal shop orders, provide lead times to internal customers, track and monitor shortages, and communicate updates across departments.
Responsibilities
- Release and update internal work orders
- Review and react to expedite and de-expedite requirements for shop orders and raw material purchases
- Work with Sourcing to outsource and insource as needed for capacity, ensuring decisions consider pricing and delivery
- Process Add/Deletes
- Review Change Orders, determine necessary actions, and send out action item notifications
- Promote continuous improvement methods in scheduling and planning
- Understand MRP logic, manufacturing capabilities, and limitations to assess how capacities and lead times are calculated
- Assess capacity constraints by process/work center and evaluate capacity risk
- Ensure lead times are accurate and maintained in the ERP system
- Monitor and report shortages
- Review planning parameters and recommend updates or systematic changes
- Monitor the Spares report and keep it updated
Requirements
- High School Diploma (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Business or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
Pay
$55,000 - $62,000 annually. This position is bonus-eligible based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in the applicable bonus plan. Pay is determined using job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including responsibilities, work experience, education/training, location, and key skills.
