Production Control Coordinator

About the role

Release and update internal shop orders, provide lead times to internal customers, track and monitor shortages, and communicate updates across departments.

Responsibilities

• Release and update internal work orders
• Review and react to expedite and de-expedite requirements for shop orders and raw material purchases
• Work with Sourcing to outsource and insource as needed for capacity, ensuring decisions consider pricing and delivery
• Process Add/Deletes
• Review Change Orders, determine necessary actions, and send out action item notifications
• Promote continuous improvement methods in scheduling and planning
• Understand MRP logic, manufacturing capabilities, and limitations to assess how capacities and lead times are calculated
• Assess capacity constraints by process/work center and evaluate capacity risk
• Ensure lead times are accurate and maintained in the ERP system
• Monitor and report shortages
• Review planning parameters and recommend updates or systematic changes
• Monitor the Spares report and keep it updated

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Business or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment

Pay

$55,000 - $62,000 annually. This position is bonus-eligible based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in the applicable bonus plan. Pay is determined using job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including responsibilities, work experience, education/training, location, and key skills.
