Production Control Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the order lifecycle from purchase order (PO) placement through production release and shipment, ensuring accurate records in the ERP system (Sage).
• Own the manufacturing holds process, including:
  • Daily status reporting
  • Maintaining accurate records in Sage and on the internal holds board
  • Communicating status changes and potential shipping delays to internal teams and customers
• Manage the contract review process from initiation through completion, including:
  • Ensuring order information and documentation is accurate
  • Securing required approvals ahead of ship dates
  • Serving as point of contact for contract review questions
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, schedule changes, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain customer prints and specification sheets by ensuring information is accurate and documented appropriately.
• Coordinate with department leads to assess feasibility of expedited or delayed ship date requests and communicate resulting commitments to internal and external customers.
• Support cross-functional communication between sales, operations, quality, and customer throughout the production process.
