Production Control Clerk (MON-FRI)

About the role

The Production Control Clerk serves as the liaison between our Customer and our Production operation. To be effective, the Production Control Clerk, fluent communication and positive relations with all internal levels of the organization is imperative. Production Control Clerk will be responsible for executing all changes to orders in the Warehouse, Production and Shipping departments. The role will be responsible for coordinating daily with Production department supervisors, Schedulers, Order Management, Sales and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for Customer Service, Inside Sales, Order Management and Art questions
• Maintain data integrity in the system
• Works effectively under stress and adjusts to ever changing work conditions
• Combines strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution
• Communicates with internal and external customers
• Communicates any customer-related issues to applicable departments or Sales Reps
• Verifies accuracy of production on machine
• Works closely with other planners/schedulers to ensure there are no scheduling gaps
• Cross trains as a backup Scheduler to understand the role and fill personnel voids

Requirements

Must be detail-oriented, data-driven, cost conscious, analytical thinker with listening skills

Qualifications

• Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high-pressure atmosphere
