Production Control Clerk - BIC

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efficient flow of work and materials between maintenance departments according to the production schedule.
• Compile and record production data from government information management systems and report production status, material consumption, and other aspects of production.
• Review and distribute work orders, track the progress of repairs, and confer with supervisors to ensure timely completion of maintenance on vital equipment.
• Compile and record critical production data from various information systems to report on maintenance volume, material consumption, and inventory levels.
• Ability to compile information and prepare reports pertaining to aircraft status.
• Maintain technical data libraries, prepare work requests, and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
• Compile detailed reports and charts that provide essential data for management, ensuring the operational readiness of all support equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience as an intermediate level Production Control Clerk, PC Analyst, or Technical Publications/Technical Orders Librarian.
• Ability to accurately type and use computers to analyze, organize, store, retrieve, and manipulate data, and report the results of those operations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Physical ability to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces; climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands; work at heights with fall protection; crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects; use finger dexterity; bend elbow/knee; reach above/below shoulders; lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances; read dials/gauges; identify small objects and hand tools; see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales; communicate by voice and detect sound; distinguish color and judge three‑dimensional depth; operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
