Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Efficiently prepare and distribute production documentation, including drawings, PMPs, job packets, frame tags, BOMs, pick sheets, and article text.
- Production Documentation Management: Create and print routers, mark and distribute documents, and reissue corrections as needed. Identify routers requiring special handling, such as PMP updates, nesting, or FAI approval.
- Assembly Packet Creation: Prepare accurate and timely assembly packets for the Assembly Department.
- Fabrication Packet Creation: Assemble accurate and timely fabrication packets for the Fabrication Department.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Rittal Production System.
- Cross‑Department Collaboration: Coordinate with Production Control, Planning, Document Control, Routing Engineering, BOM Engineering, and manufacturing leadership to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Experience with MRP or ERP systems required. SAP experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication skills. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective oral and written communication with all levels of employees and external partners. Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in both office and plant floor environments. Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Extended time in front of a computer and on the manufacturing floor.
