Job Responsibilities
- Create and process purchase orders and sales orders.
- Provide customer services to truck drivers, brokers, customers, vendors, and other colleagues.
- Create and process production work orders and tags.
- Order supplies in Coupa and maintain inventory in JD Edwards.
- Manage inbound and outbound freight needs.
- Order, track, and release rail cars.
- Prepare finished product samples for analytical testing.
- Scale house and probe operations during harvest season.
- Complete monthly monitoring, processing, and facility operations tracking requirements.
- Assist management in performing month end tasks including inventory corrections.
- Assist in producing and completing equipment preventative maintenance work orders in online computer system.
- Assist in maintaining office filing system including record retention.
- Assist location and regional management to train other members of the office staff.
- Review and enter weekly payroll for hourly colleagues.
- Perform a variety of responsibilities ranging from routine to complex while maintaining a calm and confident persona.
- Communicate with warehouse personnel and management to ensure efficient production.
- Assist in equipment preventative maintenance work orders in online computer system.
- Avoid cross-contamination and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing office setting is required.
- Previous work experience in a similar industry is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Experience with JD Edwards is beneficial.
- Must be willing to complete projects within specified deadlines.
- Position requires sitting, standing for prolonged periods of time, typing/computer operations up ¾ of the time, travel up and down stairs, bending, kneeling, light lifting up to approximately 30 pounds, and communication by telephone.
- Shifts will range from 8-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week depending on work demands.
- Minimal overnight travel to other locations and training classes.
