Production Clerk

Join Albion, a part of Avient Corporation, and become an essential part of our production success story. We're seeking a detail-oriented Production Clerk to serve as the vital link between our planning, scheduling, and shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the role

As a Production Clerk, you'll guide orders from inception to completion, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. You'll solve scheduling challenges, maintain electronic and visual planning tools, and support various administrative functions within our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Print, maintain, cork, and deliver orders
• Utilize and maintain electronic scheduling tools and visual planning boards
• Liaise and coordinate with Supply Chain department (Finished Good Planners and Raw Material Planners)
• Perform administrative warehouse functions such as processing deliveries, pick lists, shipments, and final confirmation of orders
• Support multiple departments in SAP-related requirements
• Serve as backup for Plant Administrator as needed
• Contribute to implementation of improvement projects within the department
• Run related meetings as required (e.g., open order meetings)
• Follow all corporate ESHA guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning new systems and proficient with Microsoft Excel

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (College degree preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing production or warehouse operations is a plus
• Intermediate SAP skills or willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (walking, standing, occasional lifting)

Pay

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
