PRODUCTION CLASS 2 OPERATOR
About the role
Assist production supervisors in various daily activities, ranging from but not limited to promoting labor efficiency, championing quality and sanitary objectives while supporting training needs as required.
Responsibilities
- Ability to do CIP (Connect setup as required)
- Work closely with procedures as required by the Quality Manual
- Assist Class 1 in any function required of that position
- Maintain proper machine functioning, troubleshoot and clean machines
- Effective communication with supervisors, employees, quality assurance and maintenance
- Follow proper operating procedures and report mechanical issues to supervisors immediately
- Identify, correct and communicate product defects
- General clean up, wash and sanitize
- Comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies/procedures and requirements
- Follow GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors
Requirements
- High School or equivalent (preferred)
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) preferred
- Basic Mechanical Experience (preferred)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Production roles are performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
