PRODUCTION BUYER

Primary Role And Responsibilities

• Manage production purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers.
• Lead RFQs, supplier negotiations, contract implementation, and sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance related to Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Risk (CQDR).
• Ensure on-time availability of materials and services to support production requirements.
• Support cost reduction, cost avoidance, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve supplier issues and support production continuity.
• Contribute to supplier risk management, purchasing projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

Day-to-day:

What You Need To Have

• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and ERP systems.
• Aerospace or aviation industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Fully fluent in English; French is a plus.

Information Related To The Position

The compensation range is $75,000 to $85,000. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
