About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our DKNY Jeans sourcing team. This role supports the sourcing team in the management of pre-production and production stages of the garment lifecycle, from concept to finished goods delivery. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and analytical skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product execution.
Responsibilities
- Reporting & Analysis: Create and manage WIP reports for development tracking and garment delivery; coordinate Buy Charts for monthly Buy Meetings with Sales and Design teams; provide status updates to manager while overseeing data entry with the G-III China Sourcing Office.
- Vendor Communication: Drive the daily development process through communication with global vendors; highlight development issues and work with manager on resolutions; communicate approvals within required timelines.
- Sample Management: Track samples for Public Relations and Global Sales channels; assist with special requests.
- Production Management: Manage purchase orders, own Seasonal Production Validation meetings, prepare initial costing, partner with cross-functional teams, and attend production fittings as required.
- Product Development: Partner with Design for product development approvals; track internal development milestones from tech pack submission through TOP samples.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Utilize AS400, Gerber Web PDM, and/or Yunique PLM systems to manage lifecycle activities.
- Special Projects: Complete assigned special projects that support sourcing and production initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of apparel production experience in a SKU-intensive environment, required.
- College degree or equivalent professional work experience, required.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookups.
- Working knowledge of WebPDM, PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using AS400 preferred; willingness to learn required.
- Strong project management and multitasking ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional and vendor relationships.

Pay
$75,000 – $85,000 per year (based on a 40-hour work week).
